so, has anyone out there run into the book "Greene on Greens"?
Great book.
He has chapters dedicated to various veggies. I got it because it has a whole chapter devoted to okra, and there are quite a few recipes in there. Not just a couple obvious ones, but a nice variety. I think there are like twenty okra recipes, and that is the smallest chapter if I recall (I am at work, so I can't check for sure.)

oh, another plus. I bought it off Amazon, for 50¢.

It isn't a luxurious book, all black and white line drawings. But who cares?

Just thought I would share. Hope it is somewhat helpful.

another okra fan
if you get the chance, plant like a small area with six plants. They pretty much just grow upwards, have pretty flowers, and every coupe of days you will have enough harvested to have. That is why I needed the book. I needed some new ways to prepare the stuff, darn it (although my purist manner is still my favorite)

oooo, that sounds lovely. We are moving to a garden apartment with a tiny yard. If they dont' take up a lot of space I could sure plant them!! I want tomatoes too!
